A poem for those struggling

Make your bed weary head

Today’s the day to shine

You may feel tired and weary

But you heart wants you to align

Things that feel so hard and great

Can easily be fought

If you take just one small step

Towards the goal that’s sought

So make your bed weary head

I know your heart feels sad

But tomorrow isn’t here just yet

And today is all that you have

Your tears in time will start to dry

Your heart will be sure to heal

The pain in which you carry around

Simply means you’re perfectly real

So make your bed weary head

For tonight you’ll be pleased you have

When the darkness calls you home

And your feeling truly sad

You’ll walk into your room of peace

The place where you feel safe

And looking at your pretty bed

You’ll be glad that it is made
